Another option is to take the bus that brings in Satun, get off at La Ngu (30 km. before Satun), than to take a local taxi for 25 baht which will take you to the port of Pak Bara.
We advise you to travel by night bus arriving at their destination in the morning and so arriving during the day to Koh Lipe.
From the train station Hualampong in Bankgok, night trains depart every day. We recommend to book your ticket in advance with direction Trang or Hat Yai. Arrived in one of two destinations, you have to take a minibus to take you to the port of Pak Bara. In high season from Trang, you can go to the port of Hat Yao where every day there is a ferry that leaves at 13:00.
From the port of Hat Yao which is just outside the city of Trang, during high season you can take every day the ferry departing at 13:00.
